Holy Spirit Breathe On Me...
... Bring Comfort In My Adversity.

The Holy Spirit is a priceless gift from God to those who willingly surrender to Him.

The life that is surrendered to God is a life open to the wonders of His Holy Spirit.

The difficulty in making the choice to do so...by faith...

...is eclipsed by the transformation that is realized in the transaction...

...and the incomparable gains inherited.

What I mean by this is...what you give to God in the surrender of your life...is nothing in comparison to what you receive in return.

You should have read the page titled, "Jesus: The Son of God" before coming to this one. If you have not...I encourage you to do so, now.

Near the end of that page, I mentioned only a few of the benefits that are yours when you become a child of God...

...gifts that are priceless beyond measure.

Perhaps, one of the greatest of those benefits listed is the promise of "adoption" into God's family.

My, Friend...you and I were created in the image of God.

He designed you to be an integral part of Himself, but,...

...because of the wickedness that came into the world through disobedience...

...those wrong choices severed the relationship He desires to have with you.

That is why you feel the emptiness inside...

...there's a place within you that was made just for God!

Every individual born on this planet was intended to be a child of God...

...but because of the separation mentioned earlier...

...only those who desire to be His children can do so, now (on His terms).

"Don't you know that you are the temple of the Holy Spirit?"

Through the death of His Son...Jesus...and His subsequent resurrection (more on the resurrection on the page titled, "The Surrender")...

...God made it possible for you to restore that relationship with Him.

He will not force you to do so.

He will not interfere with your freewill...(by the way, it is this same freewill that got us in this situation).

God "calls" to you...and every other individual that ever lives...in an endless number of ways...

...you either choose to answer the call...or refuse it.

The choice is yours.

The "calling" is accomplished by the Holy Spirit Who desires to "draw" you to God the Father.

If you choose to answer the call to be His child, He brings you into His family and restores the relationship your soul longs for.

When you surrender yourself to Him...you allow Him to "clean up" a place inside you that was made just for Him...and by Him.

He calls this place His temple...

...and the Holy Spirit will live inside you...in this place.

Just like your spirit is inside you, right now...

...He sends His Spirit to live with you!

Your emptiness will disappear and the beauty and power of His presence will fill your life.

You will begin to "know in your heart" that you are His child...

...He confirms it by His Spirit...

...that you've been adopted by the King of Kings!

He becomes your Heavenly Father.

The WONDER Begins

The Holy Spirit living within you is God's way of claiming you as His own. You are "sealed" by His Spirit and "set apart"from those who refuse Him.

You are given access to Him, His kingdom, and all the good things He makes available to His children!

But how do you know what's available to you as His adopted child?

Well...

...He's written it down inside a book!

You see...

...all the wonders of His kingdom are revealed in the Holy Scriptures...

...the Bible...God's Word.

His truth is exposed in the pages of this book by His Spirit.

The treasures of His kingdom are hidden to those who are not His, but...

...are readily accessible to His children with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Your eyes will no longer be blind and your ears no longer deaf...the understanding of your heart will be opened...

...and the wisdom of the ages will be yours for the "taking."

DO NOT BE DECEIVED!

This is NO ORDINARY BOOK!

Go to "The Word" (It's an eye-opener.)

Embrace it with a reverent spirit and search its pages with the Spirit inside you...

...and wondrous things will begin to be revealed!

His wisdom and knowledge will no longer be hidden from you, as His child.

What a shame it would be to be adopted by a king and choose to live in "poverty" because you refused to read His book...

...and follow the divine instructions within.

Seek...and you will find.

Knock...and the door will be opened.

Ask...and you will receive.

Life can now be an adventure for you...my friend...

...and the Holy Spirit will be your Guide.

The following is a glimpse of what you can expect from the Holy Spirit when He lives within you...

...as a child of God.

The Holy Spirit will:

* ...guide you into all truth.

* ...lead you in right paths.

* ...make your paths straight.

* ...say to you, "this is the way...walk ye in it."

* ...comfort you in times of trial and distress. (Yes, you're still going to "have those days," but you can now go through them as an overcomer rather than being overcome by them.)

* ...be your strong tower...refuge...rock...strength ...shield...defender..."ever present help in times of trouble"

* ...begin to instill Godly characteristics within you called the "fruit of the Spirit":"...love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness (aka; generosity),faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control..."

* ...also give you very specific "gifts" prepared just for you that are designed to benefit the rest of your adopted family--these gifts become apparent as you begin to spend time with others of "the family"...these gifts can range from teaching...helping (others in need)...giving...knowledge ...encouragement...healing...and a wide variety of others...

* ...bring depth of insight and clarity to the reading of God's Word...and to ALL you experience in life.

* ...reveal "things" that were hidden "...from the foundation of the world..."

* ...be your friend when all others leave...a friend Who "sticks closer than a brother"..."never will I leave you, never will I forsake you..."

...and so much more.

I am unable to adequately convey to you the significance of this "gift" you receive as a child of the eternal God.

It is something that needs to be experienced to be truly understood.

The first step is faith...believing.

In this case, seeing is not believing, but the reverse...

...BELIEVING IS SEEING.

Friend...

...the Holy Spirit is like a breath of fresh air...breathing new life into "old bones."

He becomes the life of God within you...clean...pure...

...exhilarating...

...powerful.

The "pull" or "tug" you feel upon your heart, right

now...

...or maybe even an 'ache"...

...is Him calling to you...friend.

By your own free will, you must choose to surrender to Him...

...or refuse.

Do not harden your heart...for TODAY is the day of your new life in Him.

Surrender to Him, now.
